Where are you located?
WeddingCookie.com, a division of Max's Mom's Cookies is based out of Kansas City. Our mailing address is Max's Mom's Cookies, PO Box 860161, Shawnee, KS 66286 . Our bakery is not open to the public. We gladly deliver locally and ship nationwide.
What are your hours of operation?
Our official hours of operation are 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday. However, a customer service representative is available nearly 24 hours, seven days a week via email at customerservice@maxsmomscookies.com.
Do you offer corporate or quantity-based discounts?
Corporate and quantity-based discounts begin at orders with totals over $500. For more information, please contact our customer service specialists at customerservice@maxsmomscookies.com.
Does Max's Mom's Cookies offer cookie designs other than what is shown on the web site?
Yes, we do! We love to customize! Please contact our customer service specialists at customerservice@weddingcookie.com.
Are there any order minimums?
Yes, we request a minimum order of 24 cookies. You can mix and match any style or color combination.
Can you send me a sample?
You can order a sample of any of our cookies. Samples designed exactly to your specification (design, colors, etc.) are $15 per sample plus a $5.95 shipping charge. Overrun samples (a random cookie from one of our full orders at the time of your order) are only $3 each plus a $6.95 shipping charge. To order a sample, contact us at customerservice@weddingcookie.com or 1-888-361-7198. Overrun samples are typically shipped within 5 business days. Custom sample requests will be processed within 2-4 weeks of the request.
Are your cookies hand-delivered?
Delivery by courier is available in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
Where can your cookies be shipped?
Our cookies can be shipped across the continental United States. Please note that we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
How are the cookies shipped?
Max’s Mom’s Cookies takes pride in our shipping methods. We use heavy duty corrugated shipping boxes and line them with bubble wrap. Then, we line each layer of cookies with corrugated pads and more bubble wrap. Our packages are distinctly marked fragile and hand delivered to FedEx where they are shipped via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or FedEx 2-Day Air (depending on the destination location).
Max’s Mom’s Cookies is not responsible for shipping delays caused by shipping services, weather or disaster conditions, or for charges incurred for redelivery attempts and/or incorrect address information.
What if my cookies arrive broken?
Breakage is extremely rare. We are very pleased with FedEx’s track record in handling our packages. However, if any of your decorated cookies arrive completely broken or there is a deviation from the specifications on the Order Confirmation, the damage or error must be reported to Max’s Mom’s Cookies via email at customerservice@weddingcookie.com or phone at 1-888-361-7198 within 24 hours of receipt of your order.
Only cookies that are broken will be eligible for credit. A photograph of the cookies must be emailed to us, and you must make your package available to FedEx to pick up for re-inspection. If FedEx is unable to retrieve your package, we absolutely cannot issue a refund. We reserve the right to send replacement cookies rather than issue credit should there be sufficient time before your event, as determined by Max’s Mom’s Cookies.
How much is shipping?
Shipping charges depend on the product total. They are as follows:
$0-60: $7.95
$60-120: $9.95
$120+: $12.95
Will I receive an email order confirmation and tracking information?
Yes! You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing an order. Once your order has been shipped from our Bakery, we will send you an email containing FedEx delivery and tracking information. Please note that orders placed without an email address will not receive order confirmation emails or delivery and tracking information.
How long do the cookies stay fresh?
Each order is baked fresh and decorated about 24 hours prior to shipping. Since our cookies are preservative free, they stay at their peak freshness level for 10-12 days. Max's Mom's Cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months. Please allow frozen cookies to come to room temperature in their original packaging.
Can I specify an exact delivery date?
During the checkout process, you may select from our available delivery dates. We only deliver Wednesday through Saturday to avoid weekend travel. We recommend choosing a delivery date a few days prior to your event. Cookies will not be baked until the day prior to shipping regardless of when you place your order.
What happens if I enter an incorrect or incomplete destination address?
Max's Mom's Cookies cannot be responsible for incomplete or incorrect destination addresses. The information that we receive from you is exactly what you type in during the order process. Please review your order confirmation email upon receipt to verify all data.
Should a correction be required once the package is in transit, a fee passed on to us by FedEx of $12.50 will be added to your credit card. Occasionally, FedEx does not charge us to make the correction. If they do not charge us, we will not charge you.
If your package is returned to us, we will refund your credit card your order total minus the shipping fee and a $10 administrative fee.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You will be able to track the progress of your shipment via the FedEx web site.
If the recipient has a signature waiver on file or if the shipment method is via FedEx Ground, a signature is not required for drop-off.
If a signature is required and the recipient is unavailable, FedEx will re-attempt delivery two more times, each time leaving a notice and a form for the recipient to sign enabling the driver to leave the package without obtaining a signature. The recipient may also pick up their cookies from the FedEx location noted on the delivery attempt form. If delivery has been attempted three times and the recipient has not picked up the package within a reasonable amount of time, the cookies will be returned to our bakery.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Paypal. For our customers with a corporate account, we accept payment by check. For more information, please email us at customerservice@weddingcookie.com.
Is your site secure ?
Yes! Max's Mom's Cookies and WeddingCookie.com ensures that all transactions conducted online are completely secure. Our website uses secure socket layer (SSL) certified by Thawte to encrypt all of your personal information.
What are the ingredients in the cookies?
Our cookies are made from the freshest ingredients, including shortening, margarine, powdered sugar, granulated sugar, almond extract, pure vanilla, flour, meringue powder, eggs, and Chefmaster Liqua-Gel icing colors as requested (please email us for specific ingredients by color). We occasionally use Wilton FoodWriter Markers for accents on some products.
Are Max's Mom's Cookies free of nuts or nut oils?
No. In fact, because all of our cookie dough and/or equipment may contain or may come into contact with nut or nut oils, we recommend that anyone with an allergy to nuts not consume our products.
